Congratulations to the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce for having received the “Outstanding Chamber Program Award” from the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) for the chamber’s “Northern Colorado Prospers” five-year initiative. This award recognizes chambers deemed to excel in one or more areas. Dave Kilby, President of W.A.C.E. commented, “Northern Colorado Prospers is a shining example of what all chambers should do.”
W.A.C.E represents over 825 chamber professionals in 19 Western states and Canada and is designed to promote education and professional development for chamber executives and staff.
POWER 10 managed the campaign to fund the Initiative and raised $3.75 million on a $3 million goal. The Initiative includes efforts to improve transportation, labor force, business environment and retention of key employers.
