Veteran Fundraiser Amity Farrar to Lead Chamber/EDO Partnership Efforts in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia

Amity Farrar POWER 10 Captial CampaignsAtlanta, GA — National chamber and economic development capital campaign leader, POWER 10, recently announced that veteran fundraiser and executive vice president Amity Farrar will also manage business development strategy and chamber partnerships for Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The move is part of POWER 10’s commitment to providing more proactive and personalized services for chambers seeking fundraising guidance and direct assistance during COVID-19 and beyond.

Since joining POWER 10 in 2014, Amity has served as a Development Director managing feasibility studies and campaigns, Vice President of Project Operations supervising POWER 10 Development Directors and, now, as Executive Vice President, Amity provides strategic counsel for campaign clients and assists in the management of POWER 10. She has worked on feasibility studies and campaigns throughout the country from Statesboro, GA to Seattle, Washington. Prior to joining POWER 10, Amity was an employment law attorney in Atlanta and London. She received her Doctor of Law (J.D.), from the University of Georgia, her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan, and is a graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development.

Amity will develop and implement an overall chamber/EDO partnership strategy focusing on active investment in CCAA, GACCE, ACCE and IEDC, including free workshops and webinars for members. She will also directly engage and assist chambers with questions about fundraising feasibility studies and capital campaigns and share best practices from similar clients around the country. Finally, she will provide strategic counsel and manage all feasibility study and capital campaign day-to-day operations for chamber and EDO clients across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
