Congratulations to POWER 10 client, the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, on the successful public kickoff of the Northern Colorado Prospers 2.0 (“NCP 2.0”) capital campaign. NCP 2.0 Campaign Co-Chairs Carrie Baumgart (Markley Motors), Shawn Ostoff (Bank of Colorado), Nicole Staudinger (FirstBank), and Kevin Unger (UCHealth) announced to approximately 80 business and community leaders that the Chamber has already raised nearly $2.9 million towards the $4 million campaign stretch goal (73%) during the “quiet phase.”

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the NCP 2.0 initiative to address challenges related to the pandemic’s economic effects, talent availability, congestion on North I-25, and the business environment. The Initiative includes four mutually supporting goals:

  • GOAL 1: Reignite and Rebuild Our Economy
  • GOAL 2: Attract, Retain and Align Talent
  • GOAL 3: Finish Widening North I-25 and Improve Regional Key Feeder Roads
  • GOAL 4: Advance a Business-Friendly Environment

In addition to remarks by the Campaign Co-Chairs and Chamber CEO Ann Hutchison, former CDOT Region 4 Director and Move Colorado President Johnny Olson served as the guest speaker. As Region Director, Johnny was one of CDOT’s top leaders, where he supported approximately $800 million going to the I-25 corridor projects from conception to construction completion. During the Campaign Kickoff event, Johnny provided insight into the Unsolicited Bid and Transportation process used to add a fourth lane to I-25.

Development Director Alex Hollywood, Executive Vice President Amity Farrar, Chief Executive Officer Sean Mikula and the rest of our team at POWER 10 are pleased to have worked with the aforementioned and other key Northern Colorado leaders, and we look forward to a successful conclusion to the campaign in the coming months!
